The Dartmouth Skating Club sent 9 skaters to a competition called Skatefest on Saturday, March 12th, 2016 at St. Margaret’s Arena in Tantallon. The skaters received silver and gold status after performing various elements they are working on from the CanSkate program. Some skaters performed their solo and participated in a speed event.

The Rob McCall Memorial Competition was held on February 6-8. 2015 at the Dartmouth Sportsplex. This competition brings together skaters from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island for a weekend of competition, and fun with a focus on great figure skating at all levels.
The competition was previously known as Skate Dartmouth and is run by a dedicated group of volunteers.
